“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.” Revelation 22:12

As we face a new year, we don’t know what to expect. Worldwide, we see chaos, brutal war, and bloodshed. Many people are being affected, and losing their homes, or lives, or children.

Personally, our hopes for 2023 might not have come to fruition, and we do not know what is coming in 2024.

One thing we can expect and hope for: the coming of our King. We do not know when He will come, but He will.

He will set the world to right. He will judge every evil deed. He will bring restoration.

This year, let us continue to prepare to meet Him in His glory. Let us live in the wondrous expectation that He will make everything new. He will make a new heaven and earth, and His dwelling place will be with His people. See Revelation 21-22 in the Bible.

Are you ready to meet Him? We cannot enter His Kingdom if we are not clean, if we do wrong. The bad news is all of us have done wrong, but there is good news. The good news is that the entrance is free! How can this be? God Himself opened the door for us if we choose to trust Jesus.

Jesus said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. – Revelation 21:6

If you haven’t received the gift Jesus’ love yet, I strongly encourage you to seek Him and find Him this year. If you seek Him, you will find.

If you have already found Him, continue to seek Him. Get ready for His coming with expectation! Every other hope of ours may be dashed, but one thing is certain, a party is waiting for us! If we trust Him, we will be with Jesus forever.
