Hi! Welcome to this blog! I’m an English major who likes reading, likes writing, and likes music. I also spend a lot of time online. My faith is really important to me and I like to blog about it. For ten years now, I have a chronic illness, a journey which has not been easy but it has also taught me a lot, and I’ve learned how close God can be in times of difficulty.

I definitely don’t know all the answers, and have questions of my own. Following Jesus is a life-long journey of discovery. Here, I share some of the things I’ve learnt, usually through God, the Bible, and other people. Consequently, if there is anything useful here, I don’t really deserve any credit! I may also share some of the questions I still have. I very much hope you’ll enjoy sharing in the journey.

The title of this blog, Deeper, is all about growing deeper in Jesus, and being “rooted and established in love”:

Ephesians 3:14-19
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
