Let me grow lighter

As I breathe in your Light

Set me on fire

To burn in the night

Don’t let me tire

And put love out of sight

 

Make me less me and mine

And more thee and thine

Less I and you or us and them

But more we and then –

 

Let us share fire and burn in the night

Let us grow brighter and breathe in the Light

Ever glowing, dancing, chirping, laughing,

Congregating like happy fireflies,

Drinking deeply big draughts of life!
