Above, you can find a painting I made with different names and characteristics of God found in the Bible. I find God so beautiful, and above, you can find out why. He is love, good, an awesome Creator, and a Person who supports me wherever I go. He sees me and my pain.

In the centre of the image, you can find the name “I am.” In the Bible, God reveals Himself as YHWH (see Exodus 3:14). This name is mysterious, and is understood to be based on the verb to be. God is who He is, and will always be who He is. He is constant. I am can also be linked to many different statements God makes about Himself. For example in John 11:1 Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”
