Mirror

How much time do you spend looking in the mirror each day, wondering if you measure up? Adding a dab of make-up here, a swash of blush there, concealing that freckle, pimple or mole with concealer? Adding a layer of lipstick, some mascara, and looking back and still thinking, not good enough?

How much time do you wonder whether you will wear that dress, jacket or jeans? Or another outfit? And is it worth it?

Realise: you are beautiful already.

Or perhaps, you neglect how you look, because you think you are unimportant, or even – may that never be – you consider yourself too ugly… For you too, the question applies:

Knowing you are beautiful, worthwhile and loved: how much time would you want to stand in front of the mirror? How much make-up would you want to wear? How much effort would you want to put into your clothes?

Some of us may want to put in a bit more effort, and many of us I think: less.
